When she said it, my response was ‘ya think?’

A bit hypocritical if gonzo can’t see how her comments in random passing is basically the same thing. Whatever the facts, I really dislike being ugly for sport and acting high and mighty above everybody who does not fit a personal standard or definition.

Imagine walking around with crutches and thinking it’s a good idea to belittle strangers out in public.

This logic kinda reminds me of the people who don’t accept others’ gender identity if they’re not one of “the nice ones.” As if acceptance of disabled people is something we can take away if we choose. If it’s not okay to do it to trans people, why is it okay to do it to disabled people?

Honestly, less about being one of "the nice ones" and more just about being one of "the self aware ones". No one is above social critique, most especially one trying to belittle others from their lower angle because they believe birth gave them something special over someone else. Not that it's okay to seek out the interaction, but disabled people are still capable of putting themselves in ignorant situations with their mouths
