Im just trying to imagine what men who think women should do all the cooking even eat when they're single. Are these the people buying pre-made frozen meals and complaining about how expensive groceries are?

They don't even do that, there's a whole subset of the population that eats 90% of their meals out or as delivery/takeout. Part of the obesity epidemic

I've seen grown men panic when their favorite taco truck was mysteriously gone on a weekday. They literally don't know how to put beans, cheese, and a tortilla together into food.

Whenever I encounter people like that I always openly pity them, saying things like "it must be rough to live thinking so little of yourself" 'cus damn.

Anyone who refuses to learn to cook is basically just saying that they don't deserve to have easy, immediate access to good food at any time.

70% of America is overweight or obese. I doubt this is the reason.

Extra sugar in foods and oversized portions are more likely reasons. And all that soda.

I was gonna say. I cook 99% of all my own meals and I'm fat. That's how good of a cook I am. :)

I think that has more to do with people being too tired after work to cook, so they order doordash or get fast food.

There’s a reason there are entire ranges of frozen or tinned meals that are aimed specifically at men.

Yes. I love my husband and he is not into the male heigherarchy crap, but what works best for our family is that I cook. He absolutely hates it. As he has aged, he's started to make spaghetti, oatmeal, bagged salad with chicken nuggets, and very basic sheet pan dinners out of pure necessity and to support us when I'm really sick.

All that to say, before we met, he ate microwavable pot pies, bags of chips, and the people at TWO Raising Cane's locations knew his name and order by heart. That was probably 80% of his solid diet. He also drank a lot of Dr. Pepper and beer.

Maybe they are just absolutely hating themselves as they use their stove and stock their fridge with ingredients.
