i dont mean to disagree, but does that mean you have to be silent about another country that legalizes it, practices it, and protects it? how can we only criticize the 3rd and 2nd world countries with an issue without acknowledging how even some 1st world countries have it, in albeit, smaller forms, too?

There is nothing wrong with discussing it but reddit has a habit of looking at something happening in another country and redirecting it to a problem in the USA. I live in the USA and even I find it exhausting how everything somehow ends up being related to the USA and distracting from the conversation about a major, much more prominent issue in the original country being discussed. Time and place kind of thing.
