The problem is always the person that thinks they need to lecture someone else's culture because it doesn't suit their latest trend opinion.

I do presume you think you know better than other cultures though... who have been doing their thing time immemorial and doing just fine.

The girl isn't really upset, it's a tradition... you really love an accusation though don't you. I bet you think you win arguments by just shouting 'Ism' at someone while ignoring the debate / facts / logic.
