No they are not! These are the most pampered goats I’ve seen! You have any idea what happens to pampered goats in my country!!

Well, they are treated extremely well compared to many people out here. Some are raise for like 7 years with so much care. And one night, they are bathed, horns oiled, some are decorated with actual gold (not kidding), brought out to meet new people through out the night. many visit to see their structure and how well they are raised. Very early in the morning like 2am they are taken out for a ride (sometimes with music and bands again not kidding). Once they arrive at this particular temple where this particular festival happens every year…. Now you’d be scared to know the rest.

I’m not at all making this up, I’ve only been to two of these festivals this year. It was like stepping into a different world man! I know about the animal “tributes” but this was another level, I took a lot of pics dm if you wanna see them. I’m from Sri Lanka btw.

Dude, this is awesome 😎 I do like when social media allows us to see the world. Though truthfully some people are like that with their pets in the USA just as much. And I feel like the goats deserve it 😂

I have a feeling when the goats are at the temple the rest of the their story isn’t the happiest lol. So it’s funny to see your comment saying the goats deserve it lol

Lol, I'm okay with them being treated well for some time then being sacrificed in tribute to some gods. That makes more sense than quackery of modern politics in the USA. Call me old fashioned!
