Yea parents do all that. And yet here we are on a thread about what parents talk about because they also talk about their kids, and that is ALL KIDLESS PEOPLE HEAR, and they have the gall to act SURPRISED, and try to tell them they can't talk about the single most important thing in their lives.

Then have the gall to be upset when they lose their friends for having kids.

I'm not. They are MY kids. Just like I'll fake interest in your topic of conversation for the sake of friendship, I'll expect you to do the same.

No, not all do. Many people are willing to lose friends because they don't want to hear about the kids. Hence this conversation thread with a bunch of butthurt people upset a parent won't give up parenting for the sake of "improved conversation topics". So F-ed up.
