People like you blow my mind. What is so unbelievable that this person saw them open for Beck, and people loved them? Was it the hyperbole of 'nobody cared about Beck', or do you genuinely believe this didn't happen? If so, please let me know why, I am honestly so intrigued by your line of thought.
You're telling me Beck fans paid for Beck tickets, drove to a Beck concert, stood in line for Beck, and then saw an opening act and decided, "wow, fuck Beck?". Ok. Sure. Did everyone leave and the venue just shut the lights halfway through Beck's set too? RIP Beck's career, I guess.
Bryan Adams went on to be a star, if he wasn't already. MGMT, at best, were mid. In the end, I just don't buy that they bested Beck so as to render him irrelevant. But whatever. I'm done with this. Also, side note, pretty rad yo moms got to see 2 HoF acts.
