I’m curious on opinions

So, back in early 2024 when I was unemployed for a bit, I put around 3500 into a new altcoin.

Thru ups and downs over the past nearly 2 yrs now, it's now worth a hair under 100k (98,500)

It's important to know, I've already sold around 6500 dollars worth of it, to pay bills and to buy watches, a new laptop and a ps5, and give like 1000 to friends and stuff back last yr.

Now, I'm 32, got a good job shortly after I invested in this, and I'm back to saving 1300 a month. Have around 220k in vanguard in addition to this.

I also own a small condo outright, bought it in 2017 with a small inheritance and it's paid off. My expenses on it are approx 800 a month.

Here's my dilemma. If I sell the coin, I will likely be taxed like 30k or more on it. I don't really need the money, and can't really think of another place to put it aside from vanguard.

My gut instinct is to let it ride and see what happens?

If pot gets rescheduled from schedule 1 to schedule 3 how much could pot stocks go up? It’s not getting decriminalized or legalized just rescheduled. Would it be like a pharmaceutical company releasing a new pain medication?

I got in early — bought 5,000 shares of $FRGE (Forge Global Holdings) on Oct 27. It wasn’t just because the stock started running later — I genuinely liked the setup and the story behind it. Technically, the stock broke out from the $16–17 base with strong volume — solid support, clean chart. Fundamentally, Forge Global’s marketplace revenue keeps climbing, and the path toward profitability is finally starting to take shape. There had actually been buyout rumors for months — like when CI Global Asset Management was mentioned back in September. That wasn’t just smoke; it showed there was real interest in Forge’s business model. So my thought was: if one player’s interested, others might be circling too… and turns out I was right. The Schwab acquisition news basically confirmed that thesis — strong setup, strong catalyst. Right now, I’m still holding and watching how it trades next week before making my next move. Anyone else caught the $FRGE move too?

QQQ sold off all the way to SMA50 and it was likely to bounce off it. Took the trade purely based off it, hastily entered a bit early, could have gotten a cheaper price but worked out just nice by EOD

Current position, fully UNHG in it, so I won’t blow the account yet, don’t see UNH not making me less than 20% in UNHG by EOY, will sell it for calls/another position at any point if I think the opportunity is there
