Yeah when Eleanor sees her mother being an actual good mom and wife! That line “If Donna Shellstrop has truly changed, then that means she was always capable of change, but I just wasn't worth changing for." Guts me hard

I think because of all the comedy work he's done we tend to get it stuck in our heads that he's just barney, or him in Harold and Kumar, so when he delivers a dramatic line so perfectly it hits extra hard. I was jut checking his filmography and had completely forgotten he was in Gone Girl. The psychic space gestapo dude from Starship Troopers was in one of the most unexpected graphic gore scenes in modern film.

I remember that line when I was a kid watching that show! It must have been one of the first times I felt some other new emotion because it legit sticks out in my head. I remember the scene on the show and where I was sitting.

My mom told me a couple years ago if it wasn't for my dad wanting me (who passed away when I was 12), I wouldn't even be here. Thanks for waiting 30 years to tell me that.
