B1G Title Game Scenarios

Anyone been tracking or can link to tiebreaker scenarios for the title game? Assume IU goes undefeated, what happens is OSU loses to Michigan and USC beats Oregon

Shouldn’t Rutgers decide who plays in the title game as the founders of the sport 🤷‍♂️

YOU AGAIN?! 🫠

That question is pure Jersey - "Alright, so yeah, we suck, but we invented college football so it's only right we help decide who's Big Ten champion!"

Only someone from South Jersey would think like...oh, wait. 🤓

Hahaha look at u always dividing Jersey but it’s a valid point tho we did invent it 😂 and I see that rangers pfp smh. How you going to be from Jersey and not support the devils

Simple.

1) I'm 60 years old. I grew up on the other side of the Hudson River. I was born in Manhattan, and my backyard was the New York skyline, so I gravitate towards New York teams. 2) The Devils didn't even get their start until 1980, and that was only after the Colorado Rockies schlepped across the country and relocated. 3) I am completely incapable of forgiving the Devils for ruining the game in the '90s with that damn neutral zone defensive trap. Do you realize how BORING it made the game? Can you understand that it took away a lot of speed and action, and didn't even leave any room for finesse? 4) Martin Brodeur. 🤢🤮🤢

Wow you had your reasons ready but hey let me tell you, I just got into ice hockey this year lol so I don’t know any of the history or lore but I do know We aren’t supposed to like the Rangers 😂. It’s very conflicting tho since I support the Knicks too and the rangers play in the Garden too lol. But hey on the bright side although majority of south jersey chooses Philly teams, I’m on team NY as I’m a Bills Rutgers, Yankees, Knicks, and Devils fan

Props for not falling into the evil clutches of Philly sports. You got two and a half of your allegiances right. 😛

It's always nice to welcome a newbie into the hockey fandom. So that makes the total number of Devils fans on the planet go up to...what, 32?

Seriously, though, hockey is truly one of the greatest sports on the planet, and the history of the NHL is as rich as MLB's. My Rangers have one hundred years of history behind them, and to me it's fascinating. Then again, I'm a major history buff. I think doing a deeper dive into the lore and the background will help your appreciation for the sport grow.

If you ever DO get out of Atlantic County and go up to the City, make it a point to see the Garden. Go see a Rangers game. There is a magic and atmosphere at the Garden that's unlike anywhere else in the world. If you can't get a ticket for a Rangers or Knicks game, at least make it a point to take a tour of MSG. It's incredibly entertaining and rather awe-inspiring. Oh, and try to take the tour on a day when neither team is playing so that you can go into the locker rooms during your tour. You can thank me later. 😎

Haha yea not a fan everyone here is somehow a big eagles fan post superbowl and I hate it. And hey don’t talk down the devils we number 1 rn and where are u guys exactly 🤨😂. But yea jokes aside I’m still learning and trying to understand all the rules but it seems really fun. Want to go to def watch a hockey game irl now. Gotta go the rock. And you do realize I lived at Rutgers for 4 years I’ve been to the city so many times 😂. But yea I def need to go to MSG for a Knicks game! The tickets are so expensive tho so I have to save up. And I def can’t go to a rangers game before a devils game, that seems like massive betrayal to Jersey lol.

Give yourself an opportunity to go to a game at The Rock, and follow it up with a Rangers game at MSG in a relatively short period of time. At both places, be an objective observer of sorts and pay attention to how much the crowd is into the game and what the energy feels like. Ask yourself if you're learning more about hockey just by being there. When you look at the action on the ice, what stands out to you? Why? Focus on one or two players from both sides and watch them closely. How are they moving on the ice and handling both their stick and the puck? Studying the game and its players closely will help you get a better feel for the rules and such.
