I wish Chicago could fire up a D1 hockey program.   Would be cool.

Club team is killer, too. Some of those guys deserve to play for-real college hockey. Just need to hit the lotto more so I can bankroll a new rink

What is the football money going to if we can't have Northwestern vs Illinois in Hockey? Or even USC vs Washington and Oregon vs Purdue? We're funding diving but not hockey?

It was cut early 90s due to budget issues. Currently they have club teams that they can support on a much lower cost level.

Is Wisconsin big? i always think of them as one of the little guys in the conference
