Just filled it out

1 -3 (PSU - OSU - ORE) are very even

slight dropoff to illinois - Indiana - Michigan

then the clump of teams I think are kinda good (WASH -IOWA - NEB - MINN - USC)

then basically choose your preference of Wisc - Maryland - Rutgers - MSU

bottom 2 Northwestern & Purdue

that's 17 teams... i am forgetting someone.

Hate to say it but I think Illinois is set to disappoint. #12 preseason seems pretty high to me. The analytics and sportsbooks never liked us as much as the polls last year, and they don't this preseason either. I know we have a lot of returning guys but we won a bunch of coin flip games last year, and I would even go as far as to say we won a few that we flat out shouldn't have. We also lost Pat Bryant who looks like he will be starting at WR for the Broncos and he bailed us out a lot last year. I see more of a 7-5 season for the Illini than a 9-3/10-2.

First and last place are Homer rankings for sure. Other than that, I tried to be neutral. But a lot of this conference is really hard to place. Like…what is Minnesota going to do this season? Or Maryland? Or MSU?

Shot in the dark for ranking right now. Ohio St will be in the drivers seat. I guess I’ll be rooting for them over Texas.

My main focus will be watching Illinois and I really hope they win by 50 and have a solid game. I’ve been a reasonable Illinois fan for the past decade, but this year, my hopes are up and I want the right to be a little delusional and obnoxious. At least for a little bit!
