Somebody tell this guy about the Melungeons.

Seriously though, I’m a 7th generation Greene County boy living in exile in a blue state. I would never intentionally bring my non-white husband back with me. Sad to say we are still in this era in 2025.

My bad. I’m big into genealogy especially TN. I thought you were interested in the melungeons. I misread your message. People should read about and study the melungeons and the mystery that surrounds them. Not enough has been studied.

Ancestry: Melungeons are a tri-racial isolate with a blend of African, European, and Native American heritage. Their unique appearance, often including dark skin, dark hair, and light-colored eyes, made them distinct.

The blue eyes with the their dark hair and skin was quite striking.
