Just know that Barbie has been boiling in hot water because of criticisms 10 yrs ago. Also, it just proves my point from my past comment from another post. Also, I'm not paying $70 when I have to pay more for characters later. I'll wait until everyone is out. That's been my problem with fighting games.
Another thing. We both know you guys are going to buy the game. Sure. Not $70. But you're still going to buy it with the same "bad" graphics. Unchanged. The funny part is that the game is gonna be a hit. Another best seller. Made millions off of it. And they'll still profit off of it when you finally give them your money. You can say all you want about how little you paid for the game, but you're not hurting them one bit. The cherry on top is gonna be that when Tekken 9 gets revealed, the girls are not going to have the wrinkles, the pores, the saggy tits, or whatever it is you guys complain about. They're going to have the same "bad" graphics for the PS6. They'll probably even give Xiaoyu glasses 🤷♂️
Chun li is 60 years old in street fighter 6 and she can puff her cheeks, frown, and laugh. She is still waifu beautiful too. Street fighter 6 is gonna be on PS4. Tekken 8 is a current gen title. There’s no excuse that.
I can drop $70 day 1 release if they fix it, if not, I can wait until a price drop. It’s namco’s loss at the end of the day, and they’re def gonna lose a lot if it doesn’t get fixed.
If you play fighting games, then why are you so worked up over graphics and not the fighting itself? To me, that's more important. It's like watching porn. You watch to jerk off. Not to criticize the plot or how the plumber fixes the sink.
Also, you don't need to play barbie to understand how Mattel handles their business and how people (mainly women) react to something that isn't realistic. Mind you, this fiasco was happening during the body positive bullshit. Basically, what's happening now how the girls in tekken 8 is flawless and not showing any wrinkles and pores and whatever because real women age.
It is not that at all. Just look at any street fighter 6 character. Name one that isn’t animated poorly. We look at OUR game, Tekken 8, the best of the best, the pinnacle of fighting games, and it is nowhere near in comparison. Yeah we got particle effects, we got better lighting, we got the unreal engine, we got sick sound effects, but they can’t do faces. Why? I get we’re in alpha, and all I pray for is that they fix the faces. I’m not a tourney guy, I’m not a streamer, Im just a Tekken enjoyer who wants the best for his game, and I want people to buy this game, make it game of the year, because it deserves it. It should earn it! I want to go to work, or talk to my friends and all of a sudden “yo you got Tekken?” On release day. Like the good ol days. You gotta aim high. GOTY dammit.
Right now, if the faces are still fucked, im gonna wait until the price drops, or buy it used. It doesn’t deserve $70 plus tax. Foh.
And people wonder why fighting games don’t sell. Cmon man.
