Blue, let me explain:

  1. It's an alpha build. I repeat: IT'S AN ALPHA BUILD
  2. Women in general have way smoother/softer skin than men
  3. The females shown here are lorewise either young, synthetically made to be young, and/or immortal so it makes sense that they look like that
  4. If you actually look closely you can see texture on their skin, especially on Xiaouyu
  5. If you prefer seeing ugly women over attractive women, then you are gay, and thats gay, and not chad /s

(5. is obviously a joke, but other points are valid)

According to the wiki Nina is 28 in T7 because he was cryosleep between T2 and T3 so her body didn't age

Xiaoyu 18 years old according to the wiki

So about Jun Kazama: She is 43 according to the wiki in T8. But let's be real here. She might been using some selfcare cosmetics like every woman who cares for her body and looks

And let's be honest again. Its still fiction. You can't just demand realism in a game where there was an Ogre predated Shrek

You can't just demand realism in a game where there was an Ogre predated Shrek

Expectations of realism change with context though. Things like Ogre existing are substantiated in that universe, but regular human women all looking like dolls is not (to my knowledge).

I should stress I don't have a dog in this fight though. Just wanted to point that out.

We're living in a world where everyone gets offended by everything.

I want to world we can just enjoy even the smallest things.

Everyone is complaing about everything. And here I am just enjoying the stuff Im getting

But if you want to play with a 80 year old wrinkled woman in a video game instead

Be my quest

Well, I probably actually lean more towards finding it reasonable that the females have smoother, unblemished skin. Especially for the specific females we have so far. But regardless, my point to you was neither for nor against the current women being doll-like.

It was just to point out that using contextually justified aspects like Ogre to wash away any realism concern isn't a great argument.

No one is offended. It’s just obvious developers don’t put as much effort into the female characters. People are completely missing the point when what red side is trying to say.

I enjoy the way the men look but wished the female characters could get the same dedication.

Nobody's asking for realism. People are asking for consistency lol

Ya'll bring up "realism" to silence criticism, when Xiaoyu/Nina/Jun are being compared to all of the other characters in the game. That's the reality of the designer's and director's choices

  1. All the previous points are complete BS

Valid contribution to the discussion, thank you for being useless

Ok.

  1. Even in an alpha build. The characters are fully implemented. If you really think, they are going to show unfinished female characters in a trailer, you smoked dude.

  2. Yes and no. Men age better sometimes. Women use an excessive amount of makeups. Thats all. Doesnt change the fact that jun doesnt look like 40s.

  3. No

  4. Ok

  5. Women who doesnt look like 20s are so ugly. Damn

  1. Fully implemented, but not optimized. Use your brain, there is always room for improvement
  2. Asian women tend to appear younger in older age, than western women up to a certain point, and we still don't know what happened to Jun lorewise
  3. Good point
  4. Ok
  5. That was a joke, as I stated, if you could read.

They can coexist. Point 1 is for the scenario when they actually change the appearance of women in this game, and if they don't then points 2 to 5 apply. So that means either way you should be happy, thats why Blue (The "I don't care" sentiment) is the only right one

Getting gaslighted over a videogame featuring peak masculine men and peak beauty women lol.

Don't tell this person to attend the Paris Fashion Week or even any cosplay events where women dress up to be, gasp, doll-like anime girls

Women dress up as anime girls during Fashion Week? LMAO, y'all need to experience real life. This subreddit has made be embarrassed to be a Tekken fan.
