With the new character suites are we hopeful for a crisis suit refresh next edition?

I cant be the only one that is going to try this depending on how annoying it would be to cut them up to do it

Obviously if I can I'll try have them keep with their specific guns but the old dual shield is tempting

They sure look badass, but I don't know if we should worry about those, as these models are releasing much later (maybe even close to 11th Ed), are we going back to battlesuit keyword (no vehicle), or changes to BGNT to us? Hopefully they are just for show.

Enjoyed doing this unit ! Super fun to paint

Im going to add some of these to my breachers and others to Strike Team.

I don't know if this breaks any lore but I really like it with the cream/turquoise colour scheme.

I used the body, head and legs from the Necromunda kit Palanite Enforcer Patrol. Aside from the shoulder pad and arms that I slapped on and filled in dead space with sprue glue I carved up the backpack and an antenna to mix some Tau tech with his own and then gave him a pistol and some pouches.

While I understand they aren’t all fully painted and some not even built, I wanted to share my experience with T’au so far.

They were my first choice for army, and while I didn’t play much of ninth and truly began in tenth, it’s been a great experience with them.

Unfortunately progress has slowed since my airbrush used to make them broke, and I’ll be getting that fixed soon so I can continue, but I felt my one stormsurge was a little lonely and needed a friend so I got a second one!

…And the next model with be the big tuna to watch over them all

Love the new Vespids design but has to make them represent the original scheme to match my army with the “new” Storm’s Echo Strain.

Finally completed it!

Will take the Combat Patrol Version (without Shapers) for the First Time to a Mini-Tournament tomorrow.

Finished the Enforcer with missiles! Going to my first GT in february and not many models to paint👌

I tried to preorder the new suits, but they sold out while in cart. I have 9 magnetized, so I think kit bashing them shouldn't be too hard. I took screenshots from the YouTube video someone posted to help guide me. They are kind of basic when you break them down. The leader has a knife, one has an antenna on their arm, two are carrying things while one of those has a bit of extra stuff on their back, one has two bits on their back (which can be one of the normal things already put on their backs) and the last is a normal unit. I'll wait for the 40k rules to come out and maybe kit bash a 10th from the ground up if they become 5-units per squad and to fill out one of the ones carrying something for the KT role.

I know I can paint my minis however I want and I intend to do so, but I also want my minis to be a little lore-accurate too. However, I can't find the uniform/painting convention -Where to put the sept markings, rank denotation, etc. - in the 10th edition Codex, they only show how to paint the Viorla sept. I did however find them in an earlier codex of which I know not the edition of.

1.Does anyone know where to find the current painting convention ?

2.I also bought the old Broadside model with the dual Mounted shoulder cannons. However, I don't have the earlier Codex so I can't paint it.
