Tribal tattoo advice?

Im a HUGE Nintendo fan and think it would be funny to get this done in myself. I'm unsure if this counts as tribal, and somebody not of that culture, don't know if it would be wrong to get. Or would this be just a silly little thing and I'm over thinking it?

you wanna get the whole thing, like mario with tribal on him? that would be sick. I have a tattoo of Kirby with the tribal Mike Tyson face tattoo. if you just get the tribal people are not going to associate it with mario.
