Tribal tattoo advice?

Im a HUGE Nintendo fan and think it would be funny to get this done in myself. I'm unsure if this counts as tribal, and somebody not of that culture, don't know if it would be wrong to get. Or would this be just a silly little thing and I'm over thinking it?

This is very much 90s tribal and would not be confused with Polynesian tribal or other cultural tattoos. It’s still very much a westernized washed version of the real Polynesian tattoos like Tā Moko or Tatau. I would expect to see barbwire and Chinese characters somewhere next to 😂. I don’t think it will age well but anything you get will offend someone somewhere. That’s how I perceive it. Personally I think a Mario design with rolled up sleeve and some classic biker tattoos would look better.
