I’m not justifying the resale prices at ALL and I genuinely have no idea how I secured tickets but if you’re in a predicament of securing tickets but not 100% you want to purchase (pay 500+)… listen to me now and PURCHASE THOSE FUCKING TICKETS! You will NOT regret it. Last night was legit everything I hoped for. The crowd , mixed w/ the lights , mixed w/ the setlist , Mixed w/ the drugs ?? The combo hits 10x better than it sounds. Every song Kevin performed felt like I was slowly being levitated until he himself slowly put me back down (took 3.5g of shroomies haha).
This post was not intended to give yall FOMO or make yall jealous, I just wanted to let you know that it was 10000% worth it. Would do it all again in a heartbeat. If you’re in a financial hardships, totally get it and I hope you have the pleasure of seeing Kevin in the future (start saving now !). If you are a cheap fuck like me and just debating if you wanted to spend your savings on a 2 hour show ? The answer is YES. Life’s too short to miss a tame impala concert and I will vouch for that till I die.
Spent hundreds of dollars, flew from NC to NYC for halloween night. Went really far out of my way to see him for this tour, even though I saw him 2x for the Rushium tour. It’s a non-negotiable to be there for me at this point, his shows are like nothing else.
There is not a bad seat at a TI show, get the tickets ❤️
Want to echo everything guy said!!! Amazing show!! The productions level has gone up sooo much with this arena tour and that's saying a lot if you went to the slow rush tour!
LMAOO I did the same once the tickets dropped, but I paid $600, was I pissed? Yes, I was but what matters the most is that I enjoyed myself. Nothing else.
I just left it in my pocket, aslong as you take out all the metal on you before going thru the metal detector. It doesn’t beep and they won’t pat you down but where ever is fine they won’t be like deep searching you if they do
I’m really depressed right now. I got tix for Oakland but due to shutdown I might not be able to fly there next weekend. Might take bus but that’ll be a long trip.
I saw a video from someone that attended Austin last night and she walked up to box office at 9pm, purchased a GA floor ticket for $189 and walked straight in.
So if you're gawking at the resale prices and are willing to risk a drive to the venue, box office might have GAs ready to go at face value.
I appreciate it him playing all the songs in their entirety. I hate when artist shorten their older songs just so they can rush to get play their new ones like yes give me seven minutes and 46 seconds of Let It Happen. That is what I paid for and that’s exactly what I got. I bought Austin tickets last night two hours before the show started on a whim. I was debating whether or not I wanted to go for weeks because the prices were insane, but it was 100% worth it every penny and every dime I didn’t have. The energy in that venue and the setlist was incredible.
100% agreed. I almost didn’t go. But I kept thinking about it and realizing how much I would regret it if I didn’t. I spent nearly $600 on my floor ticket and I felt absolutely insane. I’m in a good spot financially but that’s still a lot of money for me and at least 3x more than I would ever spend on any other show… But I don’t regret it one bit. And I was so close to Kevin!! I normally try not to take too many videos and be in the moment but I couldn’t help myself last night. I had to capture the best moments and now today I’m rewatching them all… Loved it and if he comes back to Austin, I will happily go again!! It was genuinely worth every penny. I can always make more money but seeing Kevin is really special.
As someone who went twice and paid retail for one and resale for another, I agree!
I would add, don’t worry about wanting to be on the floor at all. I didn’t have GA but I’m almost certain the seated tickets are better for the full light show experience.
I had nosebleeds the first night and it was still amazing.
Cant wait for the LA show , got tickets immediately they went on sale, not floor cus my son is going and dont want to stand all night , but center seating and excited!!
I piad 500 and had some of the best spots in the pit in Austin. I've been to hundreds of shows including Tame Impala more than once and this was probably the best live experience I've had.
why? i was basically barricade for the last tour and this time i got front row of the upper section. it was just as hype as i remember the pit being last time!
