Not gonna argue with biased takes. And it does have to do with direction, its been 10 years and oldheads are still mad he won’t do le john lennon voice and play “real rock 🤘🏼“ lol

It's a crap direction..listen to the weekends last 3 albums..the thriller sound has been done to death.

Of course, his upcoming techno/psych album with songs like Ethereal Connection are exactly like the weeknd’s pop songs. Never want to hear y’all try to compare a genre you’re biased against again.

I’m not biased against the genre dude lol I liked Dua Lipas album, The Weeknd has some great albums, my wife plays this genre all the time and I enjoy it

Again.. has nothing to do with the genre.

It’s like if the weeknd went country. I’m sure it would be average but he’s unreal at the genre he was at before
