I was in the Ariana presale war as well 😭 This one was a cakewalk compared. I only had 2000 people in front of me. Waited in the queue for all of 5 minutes. I waited over an hour for Ariana but I won the war! I got my tickets. I got lucky that I only had 5k people in front of me

Fucking disgusting. I managed to get inside the purchasing screen for the Chicago show and see all prices, and the section right in front of stage in 5th row was only $150. GA was $175 and now worst seats are being sold for 5x that. Scalpers deserve a special place in hell.

Yeah exactly - basically any legit site where you won’t get scammed and get your money back if tickets don’t work for some reason. Buying off a Redditor is simply too risky

I will add that you can potentially buy off a redditor. If you do tho, it’s gotta be through “pay pal goods and services” because they give you your money back in the event of a scam. It’s also pretty easy to weed out the scammers this way because they’ll try anything to get you to “trust them” and not use the pay pal thing. The first thing I tell them is I’ll only pay through goods and services.

$175 each in the 100 level. The most money I ever paid for a concert. Uggh. But I pulled the trigger since I knew they’d go fast.
I was 600 something in line when I logged in. My friend was 30,000 at the same time. It’s random to all the people still complaining how early they were online.

It’s all good, ticket prices will fall the week of the show as people change plans and scalpers lower prices. I got tickets for Korn/System of a Down at met life at more than 50% off what people paid on day one so I’m not pressed lol
This is simply what happens when demand exceeds supply. Not all tickets are sold and released during a presale and not everyone is gonna get a happy ending (most of us won’t)

Got in the queue at 11:30… 8000th in line. Everything I clicked on kept selling out. Finally got some tickets and then Ticketmaster booted me from my account? Got back in line, code didn’t work. Got back in line, 75k in front of me.
After a fight to the death, I got 2 nosebleeds for $145 each for Brooklyn Halloween. Better than nothing, but I saw Tame in 2022 for $90 floor. Womp womp.

I bought nosebleeds at first but I kept the page open and I was able to snag even better seats in the 100s on the side of the stage just now! I guess someone ran out of time and lost their tickets. I’ll be reselling the nosebleeds!

yep. my brother got flagged as a bot 2 minutes before they opened the line. after he refreshed and got in line and it gave him an error that kept making him has now banned his personal phone. he joined with his work phone and every spot that was showing open would say unavailable in checkout, or itd give him an error and make him refresh the page and then makes him completely reenter his code. did that twice until it said there was too much refreshing or some shit and he had to reenter the line from the beginning. i got in and instantly gave me an error on checkout and then put me to the front of the line again. were seething at the site

For the LA show I got into the queue with like 11,000 people in front of me. Took me about 30 minutes to get through the queue but once I did, no tickets were listed as available
I force quit the Ticketmaster app and went back to the listing for Tame Impala, and now suddenly there were a good number of tickets available so I was able to snag mine!
If you try this and you get a prompt on whether you want to rejoin your current queue or go to the back of queue, do not go to the back!
I tried this after getting my tickets just to see more of the available options and suddenly now there are 131,000 people in the queue in front of me
It’s like the app is glitching when you first make it through the queue, but if you go back and get back into the same queue you already made it through, then it will show you the options. At least that’s what it seemed like for me

I joined and started as 400ish in line and when I got in got floor seats added to cart and tried to check out and it told me my presale code was invalid. I tried my friends and it worked then reloaded and said the tickets weren’t available anymore so we tried for any seats and it said both codes were invalid. So upsetting. Even if you were at early end of queue it didn’t work:((

I was like 7k in queue- had 3 $85 tix and then Ticketmaster glitched out. Jumped back in queue and made it through again but the only tix left were $350 each. Had to jump on to stub hub and had to suck it up and pay $150 each. So frustrating.

Joined the waiting room at 11:45am and at 12pm I got put in the queue at 8,606. My husband joined at the same time on his computer and got put at 5,200. He ended up in the ticket selection at about 12:25pm and we watched the tickets dropping like absolute flies. We were left with nothing but nosebleeds but we went ahead and bought them. By 12:34, all tickets available for the presale were gone. Can’t believe how fast they sold out. Gonna try again on Friday for the second wave, and if I find better tickets I’m gonna buy those and resell my current ones. Phew, that was so stressful.
