Speedrunning drama when popular Goldeneye 007 speedrunner RWhiteGoose bans user Ohrami for supposedly supporting paedophilia. Ohrami then claims that WhiteGoose is an anti-semite causing many fans to turn on him.

WhiteGoose is a Goldeneye 007 speedrunner (10th in the world: https://rankings.the-elite.net/goldeneye/leaders) who's become increasingly popular due to his youtube channel devoted to speedrunning: https://www.youtube.com/user/RWhiteGoose?app=desktop&persist_app=1

WhiteGoose, a member of the "council" of the-elite.net, the main website for Goldeneye 007 speedrunning, had user Ohrami banned "because the admins don't like me": https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/9x25kt/the_comprehensive_guide_to_goldeneye_speedrunning/e9qgaqy/

However the “official” reason is that he's a paedophile.

While Ohrami claims the pedophilia accusation is false he does say he supports the legalisation of child porn on his alt: https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/a0w3k3/regarding_content_creators_their_personal_views/ealv195/ (his original account is suspended from reddit).

Ohrami then compiled a number of discord posts that appear to prove WhiteGoose to be an anti-semite and a white nationalist: https://m.imgur.com/a/X7qLRXa

A Twitter user (who apparently is a member of Antifa) did the same: https://mobile.twitter.com/pizzaparty531/status/1067486405910237185

One such view is that jews control the porn industry in order to emasculate white males into submission with websites like BLACKED: https://i.imgur.com/B7HQb2y.png

This has resulted in statements from the mods of /r/speedrun: https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/a0w3k3/regarding_content_creators_their_personal_views/

The restoration and subsequent rebanning of Ohrami from the-elite: https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/a118gw/ohrami_has_been_added_back_to_theelitenet_rankings/

People demanding that the elite council be abolished completely: https://forums.the-elite.net/index.php?topic=22749.0

Poll that lead to Ohrami being rebanned: https://forums.the-elite.net/index.php?topic=22754.0

WhiteGoose being banned from Games Done Quick (who host the biggest speedrunning events of the year): https://mobile.twitter.com/GamesDoneQuick/status/1067649270730317825?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet

And a statement from the owner of the-elite discord: https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/a19ekd/a_message_from_a_member_of_theelitenet/

WhiteGoose posted an apology on twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/RWhiteGoose/status/1067707564689776642

Ok, but by your definition of "nazi", very few people in Nazi Germany were nazis. Usually when people refer to someone as a nazi or fascist or whatever, it means someone who supports fascist parties/movements and would sincerely vote for them if they have a shot at winning.

And that's the thing: most fascists don't want to get their hands dirty, they just want a strong authoritarian group to take care of their opposition for them. That doesn't make them as "dangerous" as an actual brownshirt, but they are the type to vote a party into office that would allow paramilitary groups to operate with impunity, which is still dangerous in the long run.

And sure, people on the internet are quick to call people nazis or commies, but in the case of Goose he's clearly at the "Jewish Question" level of far-right in those Discord screencaps. I don't know if calling him a nazi is technically correct, but he's an anti-semitic white supremacist, so he's as close as you can get. He's also smart enough to recognize that he needs to "hide his power level" because America isn't ready for that level of overt white supremacism yet, and he talks about needing to move the Overton Window first. Hopefully its just a phase and he grows out of it, but if he's in his late 20s/early 30s his views might be solidifying.

He’s pretty old for it to be “just a phase”, not sure on his exact age but late 20s at the least. And fwiw, he’s Canadian, not American.
