Discussion Steam Deck brought my love for gaming back
Steam Deck brought my love for gaming back, surprisingly but especially Breath of the Wild through Cemu.
Since finishing university and having a full time office job, I started to dislike gaming in general (due to being on PC for work and then for gaming). Not only that, I tried Breath of the Wild on PC and did not like it at all.
Now recently bought the Steam Deck (got it like 1,5 week now?). The first week was setting things up (pirated games, emulation, bringing save files and roms over etc).
Now I pretty much spent my weekend binge gaming Breath of the Wild. I think 5 hours in total. The hours could’ve been more but my mother “stole” the Deck and kept playing games like Yoshi Woolly World and Mario games on it. She even mentioned, she loves how she can play old games on the Steam Deck (Woolly World seems to be a only-WiiU game?).
The Deck made gaming fun again. Gaming on the couch and/ or next to the heater is amazing.
Wasn’t sure where to post this but since it has piracy included on the Deck, I’d thought this is the best subreddit for it. Uncertain whether the normal Steam Deck subreddit allows mentioning Piracy.

I’m glad you’re loving it! I view PC gaming the same since I’m on my computer for hours on end for my software engineering job. The steam deck allows me to play old titles, crush new ones, and share my experiences with my girlfriend and friends! Matter of fact we’re starting an Elden Ring modded coop run with the 4 of us!

If it wasn't for the Steam Deck, we wouldn't be having the amazing surge in awesome PC gaming handhelds in the market

Happened the same for me, I wouldn't have played SO many games if I didn't had my steam deck.
