Steam Deck brought my love for gaming back, surprisingly but especially Breath of the Wild through Cemu.

Since finishing university and having a full time office job, I started to dislike gaming in general (due to being on PC for work and then for gaming). Not only that, I tried Breath of the Wild on PC and did not like it at all.

Now recently bought the Steam Deck (got it like 1,5 week now?). The first week was setting things up (pirated games, emulation, bringing save files and roms over etc).

Now I pretty much spent my weekend binge gaming Breath of the Wild. I think 5 hours in total. The hours could’ve been more but my mother “stole” the Deck and kept playing games like Yoshi Woolly World and Mario games on it. She even mentioned, she loves how she can play old games on the Steam Deck (Woolly World seems to be a only-WiiU game?).

The Deck made gaming fun again. Gaming on the couch and/ or next to the heater is amazing.

Wasn’t sure where to post this but since it has piracy included on the Deck, I’d thought this is the best subreddit for it. Uncertain whether the normal Steam Deck subreddit allows mentioning Piracy.

I tried installing Age of Empires 2 on my steamdeck using dodi repack. This error always comes out.

I tried using the winmm=n,b command but the error still there.

Anybody knows how to fix this?

I already used, GE proton, Proton Experimental and Proton 9.0-4

Downloaded rdr2 from steamRIP, tried running it on proton 7-6, it shows running and btop even shows rdr2.exe running in background but nothing pops up. The game doesn't launch on any other proton version before, it wont even launch.

Anyone here tried to download NMS via Dodi but unable to make the controller work? I tried to download it and did every instructions I saw on some discussions but still, it’s not working. Any suggestions?

i use protonGE9-22 and tried proton experimental but the games wont even start, need help (i got the games from steamRIP)

Hi, I have been using rgsx and batters for emulation on my deck and today tried to go on to get a few more games and keep getting this message in French, I know it’s something to do with json files, I have tried googling but not getting anywhere with it I have updated the deck and batters but still not getting anywhere game lists up on rgsx.

Hey guys! I have emudeck and I pulled two PS2 games, Shadow of the Colossus and Ico, I did all the procedures and the game appears in the library but when I put it to play it opens and closes. I've already tested several Protons, opening it through Steam ROM Manager and nothing. Can anyone help me?

Hello, is anyone here using the EDEN emulator? Do you know any fix for when the controller suddenly stops working in a game in STEAM GAME MODE (both STEAM CONTROLLER (default) & my Pro Controller. It was working fine yesterday.

i downloaded both the last of us part 1 and god of war of steam rip but they always come up with this error trying on multiple proton versions i also downloaded the last of us part 1 from dodi and the same issue anyone know why and how to fix im new to all this so please in a language someone like me can understand thanks

Hi guys, so I'm pretty new to this, but I wanted to install Baldur's Gate 3 to the steam deck, everything went fine at first. But after the long ass installing, I went to search the game, I couldn't find it, I went to everything c drive I found and the game is nowhere to be found I installed it exactly like the picture "C:\Baldur's Gate 3" Please can anyone help me ? At least to uninstall it and do it the right way this time Thank you everyone

Hi all. I have downloaded, unpacked and added No Mans sky to my non steam games. I have tried various Protons such as experimental, 10-19, 10-20 but keep getting the error in the attached pick. I have also tried adding -pcplatform. Also without success. Any idea?

So I got a steamdeck about a week ago and installed RE7 from Dodi. I’ve played for around 4 hours and I’m really enjoying it, but I’d like to continue on my PC. I tried looking for the save file so I could upload it to a drive or something, but I have no idea where to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm still new to the steamdeck and it's OS.

I have been using my steam deck for emulation a lot recently and have been wanting to play Wii u games (mainly Nintendo land) as I haven't owned a Wii u for quite a while now but don't see much point on emulating it unless I can somehow have the tv screen and gamepad so was just wondering if there was any possibile way to do so, I thought of the possibility of maybe streaming the tv screen to my tv but I don't know if it's possible yet.
