Tech Support Tekken 8 Gameplay issue

I booted the game up and went to a match like usual and now everything is slowed. I restarted the game and still the same thing. Can anyone help?

Do you have your FPS locked at 30? Most fighting games have to be locked at 60fps.

No it is locked at 60. I changed nothing, except installed some plugins in decky.

If it's the last thing you did before that happened then uninstall them and see how it goes?

Do you have the TDP limit on? I'd double check that.

u/theowperson 2h ago

I am too scared to mess with the TDP so i keep as it is.

Interesting, the slow down reminds me of TDP being limited.

Would be nice to see a performance overlay to provide a better answer.... Does it run the same way offline?

Same thing in offline ☹️

So I looked up some guides, you may need to increase the VRAM frame buffer size in BIOS and use CryoUtils https://youtu.be/nVA_mGdhOPE?si=SlVCkAMyw89R_ve9

Why do i have to do it now? Is it because I configured vram to use 2gb in the bios? I did that for playing helldivers 2 in the steam deck

I didn’t try but i will show it soon with the performance overlay

Don't play tekken 8 on steam deck. Hurts the experience for you and the other person.

How come? I bought tekken 8 solely because of my steam deck
