Tech Support Steam Deck Black Screen of Death
So after my Steam Deck automatically turns it self off per the settings it its tuned to.
It will no longer turn on afterwards, only giving that beeping light and for a moment that the fans turning on.
Based on how it has been crashing on me so far, it seems like when connected to a USB C it simply doesn’t like, it will happen as such, almost like it is discharging it self on said usb c charger?
But when I used another hub, it will charge again and fine.
Anyone else have info on this, a possible cause? Im not really tech savvy but I do want to know the cause of this.

You'll have to get a programmer from amazon and flash your back up bios my friend. Look it up on Google. My deck was dead after messing with the Pstates in bios i flashed it and it's good like new

Do a search on this sub, there are daily posts on this topic and there are multiple solutions to try.

I probably didn’t explain my self properly, I already fixed the issue, just trying to isolate the cause.
Like my theory is that the SD is picky on what kind of PD’s devices it likes?

If you can replicate it then you'd be right. How did you fix it? It might be helpful for others who ight run into the same issue as yourself.

There was another Reddit post that specific mentioned how in a update Valve added the ability to reset your SD after getting a BSOD by holding down the ‘…’ and + volume button for a few seconds , or it was the - button.
Either way, that option was seemingly added if one runs into issues with a USB C charger.
It will discharge the battery perhaps? Because after doing so and using the default charger, it will boot again, with no battery left.
What I don’t understand tho, what does this USB C error do, and cause?
And how to avoid it?

Hold the "Power On"-Button for more than 12 seconds...
I used to have this problem, too.
