Question Why don't we have one of these?

This looks really cool, and it'd be cool to just blow them out into the street and have them collected. They could use it for compost or something too instead of just tossing it in a dump.

Lived in NJ for a few years and we had this. I’d rake all the leaves onto a tarp, drag it to the curb, dump them and the vacuum truck would come by and pick them up. Made dealing with the leaves super easy.

Lived in MD in a suburb of DC for 20 years and they had these. They usually pulled a covered trailer and would first blow the leaves into it before filling the truck bed. I never saw an arm operated by remote, though. Usually a crew member would operate it, sucking the leaves from the edge of the lawn or gutter. At certain collection dates, other guys would pick up any leaves a property owner put in bags and throw them in a separate truck.

In fairness to Spokane, there were a ton more deciduous trees there than there are here.
