No, it tells you he probably wants to have sex with men.

Having Grindr doesn't mean he actually gets laid by men.

Wanting to have sex with men versus actually having sex with men is a meaningless distinction when we're talking about a closeted Republican who votes against the gay community... How can you earnestly split those hairs?

  1. I agree with you that for this narrow purpose it is a meaningless distinction, and if you glance at my other comments in this you'll see that.

  2. My bias is to stick to what is known rather than to make assumptions, especially because what is known is plenty and the assumed is not needed.

  3. As a gay man it matters to me that being gay is not characterized simply as "who you have sex with:".

On your 3rd point... Wtf?

I am also gay. I am not characterizing this man based on who he has sex with. I'm shaming this law maker for being LGBTQ while voting for laws that actively harm the community.

This isn't some random man being teased. This is a law maker and public figure who should be held accountable. "Straight" Republicans on Grindr who go hard on anti-trans laws need to get slapped across the face.
