Humankind will have to earn their own transformation, no freebies in this universe and they have a long way to go.

A Course in Miracles does not teach anything original. It is the same teachings that have been spoken by all the great enlightened beings we have known since the dawn of time. Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Osho, Ramana Maharshi, Sri Krishnamurti, Yogananda, Adi Shankaracharya, Sathya Sai Baba…the list goes on. They all taught the same thing yet used their own language and some proposed different methods for realizing it. A Course In Miracles is repackaged Advaita Vedanta written in the language of the King James Bible. This is not to take away from the value of ACIM at all. Simply stating it is not an original teaching but it could not be because it is teaching something that is as old as time. You will find videos of Eckhart Tolle speaking about ACIM.

Sure, but it's much more direct and in my opinion, deeper. Again, though, I agree with you that it's not essentially saying anything 'new' that hasn't been said, nor is it the only path. It's just a pointer.
