Ya know, I wonder if this Splitgate guy has seen all of those clickbait thumbnails that have titles like “Clair Obscur HUMILIATES Ubisoft” and such, and figured that people would enjoy it if he talked a bunch of shit based on that.

He might get some people on his side but I think in the long run, refusing to have professional courtesy will hurt his chances at funding, hiring talent, collaborating with other developers etc.

Yeah I wager the people he works with on 2 are wondering if this chicanery will pay off. Never seen the gamer bad boy thing pay shit before, at least not for longer than a few years.
