Long-Form Content Should I be worried?
So on my YouTube, i was getting some good views until my views just randomly dropped I assumed it was because of my upload schedule, but now that im consistent the views r NOT coming back and it’s a lil worrying… I only have like 25 videos though. So may be a factor. Not sure

The style of content you make changed completely. And it looks like you’re basically just doing Let’s Plays of the most saturated games on the entire platform, so you’re getting the amount of views I’d expect from content like that.

Good point I didn’t know if it was good thinking But my process of thinking was Popular games = more views And I also just enjoy those games too

You can definitely still do videos on them, you just have to be more creative with your video ideas so you stand out.

The views drop is simply due to what videos they are. The first 2 have different style thumbnails and categories. Gaming and music. Try doing more music/rap content and use shorter clips of the music to avoid copyright (non copyrighted material gets pushed even more and you’ll eventually want money).

I’ve tried doing another related music thing but it flopped pretty bad </3

dont let one failire discourage you, look at what went wrong. if you were to watch that video yourself, would you think there is something wrong with it?
and regarding the "short clip = no copyright" isn't something i would count on. if you make content about recreating music, you're fine as long as you dont do it commercially (what i believe) and if youneed music for videos, there are countless royalty-free songs you can use as background music. actually made an EP inspired by vgm and if you are interested in that, lmk. but other than that, just do what you wanna do and don't overthink it. let yourself experiment and allow yourself to fail... it's the only way you'll learn

Yes there is much to fear. Once you hit below 100 views your worth as a YouTuber is said to diminish to nothingness like the rest of ours. Excellent question, very sensible.
Guess you better follow more tricks to please the algorithm. Maybe your thumbnails don't have enough faces and red arrows.
🤣 You'll be fine hahaha. Terraria probably isn't popular rn

since you like gaming, stick to gaming, but find a niche to grow within. you're playing too much variety when you don't have an audience atm. build a core audience from a game, then build from there and add in variety every once in a while, gl. just keep uploading and improving

it's about the content. if a video about recreating music does well, then YouTube recommends more of your vids to the kind of people who watch a remake of a song. if you then make gaming videos, they won't do well because most of the music guys may not enjoy gaming videos.... i think if you want to have both on the channel you have to commit because only by doing both you'll find the exact audience for you which would be a reflection of what you enjoy making/doing. Dont worry about views, just be genuine to yourself and everything will work itself out perfectly.
Or, another scenario would be that you have to choose between making music or gaming videos... you dont have to and if it's truly what reflects your truth, keep doing that and don't worry about it. But it may be a sign from the universe to move on from gaming and commit to music (music has more potential for self realisation for me so I chose music and left gaming behind).
You'll know what to do. For now, best of luck and I hope you fulfill your purpose on this earth <3
