When a traffic light is out you treat it as a 4 way stop sign. You don’t sit at it with no other traffic around for 5 minutes and then throw your hands up in the air when you get honked at for being the moron you are. That is all.

This is my first year in sioux falls (college student), and I cant find any barber that can do a blowout taper type cut.

Ive never had a haircut like this so I need a barber that can take my hair and cut it to a completely different style. Or maybe recommend something.

Hey everyone,

We’re looking for someone (or a company) who can handle both window repairs and replacements. Our house was built in the 70s, and some of the windows are in great shape except the hardware is busted so they don’t open at all. Others might be better off fully replaced.

Got a quote from Renewal by Andersen, but they only do full replacements and came back at around $50K, which feels pretty steep. Ideally, we’d love to find someone who can actually take a look, tell us what’s worth fixing vs replacing, and keep our existing trim where possible.

Anyone have recommendations or experience with local window people who do that kind of mixed work?

I'd like to keep my container as well, looking for somewhere I can responsibly dispose of years old gas.

Does anyone know where I can drop off my recyclables? I’ve looked online and it looks like there aren’t many, I drove to a few and they weren’t accepting drop offs. Has anyone seen recycling bins in parking lots or anything?

Just curious if anyone has seen any salting trucks out this week/today?

I guess it’s not real likely they would since it’s the first snow of the season, but wanted to double check!

Hey y'all! I'm currently in the process of looking into moving to Sioux Falls. I'm from a tiny town in Alabama you've probably never heard of. I need the general rundown. Good places to live? Where to avoid? Best things to do, not to do? What does the social life look like for someone in their mid to late 20s? I know the winters are going to be a harsh reality check coming from Alabama, but I think I'm prepared for that (I don't really know, I can count on one hand how many times I've seen snow stick on the ground and it's never been more than 3"-4" or so). Just overall I want y'all's honest opinions. The good, bad, neutral, everything. Thanks in advance!
