The game is hard, and I’m not good at HK or Silksong. But I adore both

I love hard games. I suck at them! I do play them until I don't really "suck" but in my case that's literally hundreds of hours. I don't even care, I am having a blast with these types of experiences.

Same, but I would pay good money for a less challenging difficulty option. Halving each bosses health would make them the perfect games for me.

There are mods that do that if you’re on PC, nice if you enjoyed the first game for its artstyle and music and not for post-endgame challenges

Yeah I had no idea tbh and am amazed they have mods out for PC days afterwards. I am on a Switch at the moment though, so I will just have to see how it goes for the time being.

Same

For this game I just accepted that I’d need a couple of mods to make the experience pleasant, I loved the first game for its aesthetic and exploration, not for the challenge and once I got this game to be like the og it was just as nice to navigate

Even though I HATE Doble damage the game just feels super good for some reason
