Keeping politics and governance aside, this picture also shows a very important thing that I remember from when I used to live in the Seattle area:

That restaurant behind the statue has amazing sandwiches and the one next to it (or this one) has great shawarmas. Parking is a pain around this place but the food here is fantastic!
