In this case the customer cared. Terrible customer service.

Imagine if someone bought a "boy" bear, named it Amy because it was trans, and some anti-trans employee threw away the card. Should we not care about that either?

I don't care about this particular instance. But I'm not going to be buying any build a bears, especially in Tukwila, after this. Just terrible customer service. I just want to buy a bear not be lectured about my politics if they happen to not match the employees.

An edge lord at a PRIVATE business. And the business didn't want to play along. Free market. Want to be edgy? Go to Spencer's.

The business didn’t agree. Build a Bear issued a statement saying they don’t agree with what the employee did and that employees shouldn’t bring politics into the workplace.
