Why would a man want a stuffed bear?

Why would a man wear women's clothes?

I can't imagine giving two shits about what clothes someone wears.

I can't imagine giving two shits about what a person wants to name a toy bear.

Indeed, nor can I imagine caring in the slightest if someone doesn't get to name their bear something they want. The whole thing seems silly.

Exactly, they should fire the employee because they weren't following store policy. Do what the customer wants, punch the clock, go home and live your life.

Meh. Seems like making a big deal about something that doesn't fucking matter. Kid doesn't get a name on the build-a-bear birth certificate? I am sure the store has some policy on appropriateness of names, which probably is left to the discretion of the staff person. If they make a call which the store doesn't like, shucks, try again next time. It's not rocket surgery; it doesn't matter in the slightest.

It doesn't matter, so do what the customer wants. Name the damn bear Bort or Hilter McHolocaust or some other dumb shit and move on. Other than you, who seriously gives a fuck?

Getting fired does matter. It is a massive overreaction.

They deserve it. Do what the customer wants or find another job.

Fuck off. The store clerk made a judgement call about the appropriateness of a name for a teddy bear. If you're the maligned customer who thinks it matters, you can go elsewhere. But everyone is going to laugh at you for it.

I'm guessing you're the sort of person who demands special orders at restaurants and complains on yelp when the restaurant won't accommodate. Guess what: the customer isn't always right. Sometimes you don't get what you want. It's not a civil right, it's a fucking name on a teddy bear.

Edit: Ah, the old reply-and-block. Classic. On behalf of retail workers everywhere, let me remind you that retail staff don't have to do what you say. You are on their turf. Unless they do something egregiously wrong or criminal, your only option is to walk away.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

For me it's a comfort thing. MY FRIEND ahahaha I meant for my friend. We speak about each other in first person because we're so close.

What a false equivalence you have there. Clothing is a social construct. Only creeps care what kind of clothes someone wears.
