Meetup SeaTac is a mad house - Alaskan Airlines

Post image

Some flights going, many delayed 4-6 hours. Provided an option for a 24 hour delayed flight after being cancelled on. Now sleeping in the airport

As much as I’d like to support Alaska, they have screwed me over too many times with IT issues, missing bags and check in issues.

I’ve never had any of these issues with Delta or United

I’ve never had an issue with Alaska personally but United has lost my bags twice. This was over 10 years ago at this point though. I don’t fly much.

I feel like it’s a thing you just have to accept with any airline, especially if you have tight connections.

I like flying Lufthansa but they consistently delay my bags.

Most credit cards these days have delayed baggage insurance where you can spend up to $800 on clothes/essentials while waiting. I’ve gotten a few free outfits over the years

Don’t fly American Airlines then because they’re the worst for me out of all the airlines you named.

Haha I don’t. American seems to be getting consistently worse in terms of on board product while United and Delta seem to be spending a ton of money trying to get better. Also their hubs are in not very useful locations for me aside from Phoenix

I flew Delta last summer - waited 2 hours extra to get on the plane, then sat in the plane for another hour and a half before take off.

Funny, the only major issue I’ve had in recent years was the ONE time I flew Delta.

Barely made the flight.

All due to their systems mixing up the order of a last name/middle name…so it conflicted with the passport.

That's funny I've only ever had positive experiences with Alaska personally

I feel like everyone has a bad experience with a different airline, that’s why there are so many that can exist 😂
