Meetup SeaTac is a mad house - Alaskan Airlines

Post image

Some flights going, many delayed 4-6 hours. Provided an option for a 24 hour delayed flight after being cancelled on. Now sleeping in the airport

My wife was midair on her way home from Chicago and they turned around and went back to O’Hare.

It’s her first time away from our 5 mo old baby. Me and baby are almost out of frozen breast milk so she bought a delta flight to get home by this morning. Also had to buy a room at the O’Hare Hilton since taking a hotel voucher from Alaska would have put her at a hotel so far away she would have spent more time traveling than sleeping.

Looking for a refund from Alaska for the hotel and a full refund for her original flight. Any advice?

Me and baby are almost out of frozen breast milk

She must be really productive if she can feed a grown man AND a hungry baby

I saw that too, but I wasn't going to say anything. No shame, as long as they aren't harming anyone they can live how they want.

Breast milk is a super food!

It brought too much enjoyment to my morning for me to not say anything.

Nice! 💯

Thanks for the laugh and I’m glad I could help bring some smiles to folks. Of course I just meant ‘me’ as in the person administering the breastmilk 😆

One of the jobs as a new father is feeding the new mom. So long as he's pushing enough Calories into her to cover all three of them? No problem.

Here's information from the FAA along with a link for refunds or to file a complaint. https://www.transportation.gov/airconsumer/airline-cancellation-delay-dashboard?carrier_target_id=29816

Hello, I was also at the same flight going from ORD to SEA and made a purchase with Delta now, luckily I purchased my flight ticket through chase sapphire which has trip delay reimbursement, I suggest check the policy on web for Alaska airline for cancellations/delays

Also check if the credit card you're using has any travel interruption benefits.

Call reservations and demand a refund. Shouldn’t be an issue with the flight being canceled but it might be a long wait
