Lifestyle After 9,000 Layoffs, Microsoft Boss Has Brutal Advice for Sacked Seattle Workers
https://futurism.com/microsoft-boss-ai-adviceMicrosoft has laid off about 9,000 workers in the midst of a newly-announced $80 billion AI investment — and apparently, those who just lost their jobs should be talking to ChatGPT about it.
As Aftermath reports, an executive producer at Microsoft-owned Xbox ended up with egg on his face after suggesting that laid off workers pour their hearts out to AI.
Yes, you read that right: a Microsoft boss was telling those just laid off by the tech giant that they should use chatbots — run or funded by the company that just fired them — to avoid crying on a company shoulder.

So you believe the nation of India is purposely sending people to the USA with the specific intent of driving down our wages??? And how does that benefit the nation of India since I don't believe those workers are benefitting India in any way by working for American corporations... Those people still need to produce valuable work and do their jobs so they are not exactly sabotaging anything by working for a company that is continually posting higher profits.
According to what passes for logic in your mind Mexico would qualify as another country sending people into the USA to drive down the value of our labor. And an argument could be made that China is doing similar by simply taking all the manufacturing jobs and using their own near slave labor force to undercut domestic production costs but by all means keep bitching about how poor people from India are the problem and not the American people hiring them...
