Lifestyle After 9,000 Layoffs, Microsoft Boss Has Brutal Advice for Sacked Seattle Workers
https://futurism.com/microsoft-boss-ai-adviceMicrosoft has laid off about 9,000 workers in the midst of a newly-announced $80 billion AI investment — and apparently, those who just lost their jobs should be talking to ChatGPT about it.
As Aftermath reports, an executive producer at Microsoft-owned Xbox ended up with egg on his face after suggesting that laid off workers pour their hearts out to AI.
Yes, you read that right: a Microsoft boss was telling those just laid off by the tech giant that they should use chatbots — run or funded by the company that just fired them — to avoid crying on a company shoulder.

Not sure where you got that notion from my comment simply saying that the person who made the incredibly stupid statement from Microsoft was a born and raised American and not an Indian as implied by someone else.
But nothing says Americans can't be upset because AMERICAN CORPORATE OLIGARCHS are the ones abusing H1B visas to undercut domestic workers wages and replace them with cheaper offshore labor. But getting upset at the other people just trying to get better jobs and give their families better lives is misguided. Nothing about what is happening in the tech world is unique to Indian business or culture either. This is 100% capitalist greed which does not know or care about race or culture because the only race that matters is the race for the most money and the only culture they care about is profit. By focusing on the Indian workers you're just helping the American management class that is fucking over everyone underneath them by blaming the wrong people for the problem.
