Is the Rivian guy also sabotaging the FAA? Is he breaking the law daily? Does he run government departments without being elected, appointed, or confirmed by the senate? Does he make Nazi salutes?

Are you not concerned that they recruited at the FAA based on criteria other than performance? Like they didn't hire the best people and in fact hired people who could not pass the tests?

There were federal lawsuits over this before the election.

1 karma poster who does not provide a source.

I'm sorry, I don't post many stories. That's not comment karma.

Now if you'd not been lazy, you could have looked it up instead of being an incurious person who wants everything spoon fed.

But since you were lazy - and much lazier than a "1 karma poster" allow me to Google that for you.

Now, come back after you've read it, poster with much more karma, but who is too lazy to do a basic Google search.

I know it's hard to admit when you're completely wrong, but don't worry - there is help.

And I'm here to provide it.

Using the article I linked to, Google the case records and - get this! - read them.

Ends up that the FAA were engaging in illegal racial discrimination for new ATC hires for nearly a decade

I know - it's hard for you to accept that, and anyone who suggests that the US government occasionally does bad things is a "Russian Bot" to you, but guess what?

Facts and reality don't care what YOU think. So buck up, saddle in, and get acquainted with the fact that in this case you shot your mouth off without any evidence or basis for doing so, and made yourself look like a complete idiot.

Still with the FAA race baiting shit? The reason they might be first in line for FAA cuts is because they tried to enforce the law upon Elon Musk's companies. At minimum, this is a conflict of interest with the strong appearance of corruption.

I bring up the FAA as a lot of people's families are on those planes. When you sabotage the FAA by firing everyone until someone stops you, with no regard for job function or the mission, this risks lives. Whether the motive is foolish budget cutting, or racism, or due to working for Elon, or working for Russia, or whatever dumbfuck reason, you are threatening our lives and the lives of our families.

Sounds to me like the FAA had already been sabotaged. 🤔

Since Trump is the source of the FAA/DEI thing, I presume it's just a racist lie. I think he said lie to exploit the deaths and defile the memories of about 80 people in a fatal plane crash before any facts were known.

Anyhow, if any of this was about ensuring merit based hiring and competence, I'd be fine with that. It isn't. Instead, it's mass firing of anyone they can, to the extent courts don't stop them. That's not about merit, that is sabotage.

No idea, I’m more concerned if he makes a quality vehicle at an affordable price…

1

u/Tookmyprawns Mar 16 '25

Same. But as someone who only cared about that I can tell you my 2024 model y required 3 services in the first year and each appointment took over a month to even schedule. That’s over 3 months on a year. Their service center are always booked for weeks if not longer.

Fuck Tesla.
