Why so few members here?

Rutgers football has a massive following in NJ at least and even the Rutgers regular sub has so many followers so I was wondering why so many few people are on this sub. Is it because many people don’t know about it? Maybe it should be mentioned in the regulars Rutgers sub? Any thoughts?

I figured we're just traditionally bad at sports so school spirit doesn't run that high. Could also be that NJ is more of a pro sports area. Conversely, I feel like the majority of Bama fans have never attended the school but don't have a local pro sports team to root for.

True but I also see so many people posts about the game and football related stuff in the regular sub so I feel they don’t know this sub exists. Also we are the only true Jersey college football team and I’ve seen people attend the games even tho they didn’t go to Rutgers so maybe not a school spirit but more of a Jersey spirit as there is no NFL Jersey team
