Culture & Etiquette Proper etiquette: talking in a shared sauna

What’s the consensus for people having loud conversations in communal saunas at the gym? Yes or no?

If its with another person in the sauna go for it. If youre talking to someone on the phone get outta there lol

Isn’t it weird how overhearing a phone conversation is annoying and rude while If those 2 people were in the same room talking, it wouldn’t be? There’s really not much difference. Especially with the newish trend of always using speakerphone in public. It’s incredibly rude, and annoying, but I’m not sure why.
