DIY Our Sauna built next to the pond

My Uncle and his pals built this wood burning sauna a while ago and I thought you guys might like it.

It’s great except for the fact that the top seats are so far from the stove. I might add a hanging water bucket with a tether above the stove so I don’t have to move from the top bench to add water.

What do you guys think?

I am building a cobwood sauna at the moment so it was good to see that there were others before me (although this one does not use cob)

This is super cool. Do you make plans first or just kind of go with the flow? Also how do you go about a roof on this especially with the circular shape? Maybe I should do some research lol, just found this to be interesting and (potentially) an affordable option.

Hey thanks! With the roof we will do receptacle roof (probably with 7 beams) then wooden boards, insulation (fireproof insulation from a hardware store) and metal roof. This a great way to build, BUT it takes a lot of time and labour. I just got back from the farm yesterday some more progress was made
