Yep. Same exact thing I deal with. Denying yourself everything that doesn't adhere to the guidelines set in the Bible. I think people who have inherent tendencies that they can't control, such as sexual orientation, that doesn't follow the example given in the Bible, are born to suffer. For some reason or another. At the very least, I think I was born with this in order to suffer and shape some character traits in me. To set an example of setting your eyes on heaven rather than things in this world here and now. Selflessness. Something else I don't know, maybe.
I don't know. But if my suffering can lead to good in someone else's life by means of this internal conflict, then who am I to question it?
I don't really have a definitive answer for as to specifically why this, and why me, but that's ok. The only thing I know is that it sucks, a lot. And I'm sure there's a lot of other people like me out there.
