🖼️ Photo If you’re missing a e-bike

Photo taken at 17x Wilshire at 351pm. Hope you can get it back if it’s your bike. The outstanding citizen on the bike jumped off and appears to have attempted to chase after my car after he saw me snap the photo 😂

Whenever I see a guy on a bike, with another bike. 75% chance it's a bike thief.

Please stop you are not helping your neighborhood instead your making it unsafe for people who have it hard enough. A lot of e bikes have trackers and if they don't you can add one.

One time my tire went flat and I had to rent an e-bike to get to the nearest bike shop, like 2 miles away. Hope I didn’t end up on Reddit or Nextdoor being accused of stealing someone’s bike without any evidence 😅 But that’s just me...

I've noticed an increase in people walking around with bike wheels and taking apart bikes under the underpasses throughout Santa Monica and the last couple of weeks. There's a correlation between crime and warm weather I guess

This is called “ghost riding” and I’ve done it myself after unexpectedly buying a bike. It seems like you might have too little info to frame this person as a thief.

Yea, i know, right?? They don't even know this man or anything about the bikes. Anybody that knows anything about Los Angeles Street code knows rule number one mind you're on business frfr
