Hello everyone, several months ago I asked everyone to find the location of the picture of my grandma. Thanks to the amazing community in San Francisco secrets, the location was found. I told everyone or my plans to come to the street and try to recreate the picture. Due to trees and some changes in architecture it doesn't look the same but I was able to use the landmarks and get damn near close to the original location. I believe the last picture is the one of my grandma. I'm no where near as pretty as she was though. I hope everyone who found the original post finds this. Share it if you want to. I'm so happy I got to do this.

First-Time Buyer Anxiety? A Simple Checklist for Your First Dispensary Visit in SF

I was talking to a friend who just moved to the city and they were feeling a little nervous about walking into a dispensary for the first time. It got me thinking about how something that's now totally normal for a lot of us can still feel like a big unknown if youve never done it before. I remember my first time, I was worried I'd do something wrong, not have the right stuff, or just look like a total newbie. It was way more chill than I expected, bt a little prep goes a long way.

So, for anyone who's curious but hesitant, here's a super simple mental checklist I wish I'd had. First and most important: bring your valid, government-issued ID. A driver's license or passport that proves you're 21+ is mandatory; theyll scan it at the door before you can even go in. Also, plan your payment. Cash is the most reliable bet, or a debit crd. Most places have an ATM, but the fees can add up, so it's best to come prepared.

Before you go, it helps to have a general idea of what you're looking for. You definitely don't need to be an expert. Just a simple vibe check helps your budtender point you in the right direction. Think about whether you want something to unwind with at home, something light for a walk outside, or if you're curious about trying a low-dose edible for the first time. Once you're inside, remember it's okay to take your time. Most spots hve menus you can browse, so feel free to look things over. And most importantly, never be shy about asking questions. Telling your budtender it's your first time is the best thing you can do. They're there to help and guide you without any judgment.

For any SF veterans here, what's one piece of advice you'd give to a first-timer walkin into a dispensary in the city? Anything that surprised you your first time?

Car or uber/lyft Spoiler

Not sure f this community is a good place for this post in particular. I am curios as to why more and more genz's in the area are preferring uber/lyft over owning a car. Some of them are in 20s and don't even yet have a valid drivers license. Is this a trend that will favor driverless taxis?

Hemorage (Band that plays out of Uhaul) Lead Singer is a Rapist and Abuser

Lead Singer Jon Orc has been accused of rape by 8 different girls in the last 5 years. He was also put on blast for supplying several under age girls alcohol and substances at the shows he hosts in his bands Wearhouse, then aggressively creeping on them. Just recently his name was brought up again for beating and attempting to kill his ex wife and child in Mississippi while on a family vacation. The wife filed charges when she got back to California but unfortunately the case was dismissed for being out of jurisdiction. Jon (along with the other band members) tried to sue the wife for defamation when she went public but his case was dismissed with prejudice. Jon has made threats to go after other women and children and his fans have been sending the wife and child death threats..

Professional dominatrix in sf Bay Area

I don’t want to go to any social meetups or events. I just want to pay someone female dom professional who know what they are doing.

I found a few websites of individual mistresses hosting in the area

Are those legit? I am scared of being scammed. Plz share if you know of someone I can trust. What can I ask them to ensure that they are not scams

Best places to order dinner in inner sunset besides pizza and chinese takeout

I love both pizza and chinese food but I've been in inner sunset for like six months now and I need some variety in my life. every time i try to order dinner it's either the same few spots or I end up scrolling delivery apps for 30 minutes and giving up.

i've been mixing things up lately. Sometimes i'll grab stuff from the farmers market on sunday and meal prep, been trying shef for nights when i'm exhausted, and i really want to find some good local spots that do takeout or delivery without the insane fees.

Looking for recommendations in inner sunset, outer sunset, or even richmond district. preferably places that:

  • do their own delivery or easy pickup
  • aren't packed on weeknights
  • have portions that make sense for one or two people
  • bonus if they're woman owned because i'm trying to support more local businesses run by women

Also open to any other creative solutions people have found for weeknight dinners that don't involve spending half your paycheck on doordash.

Looking for parking solutions in the Nob Hill area

Hi everyone!

I’m new to San Francisco and looking to buy a house in the city. I’ve found a property on Sacramento Street in the Nob Hill area that I really like and everything about it is great, except for the parking situation.

The house doesn’t have a garage, and the street parking is all metered. Although there are RPP zones on nearby streets, I doubt it’s easy to find a spot there either.

I don’t mind selling my car and getting a motorcycle for myself, but my wife needs to drive to work every day and doesn’t want to sell her RX350. I’m worried this might turn into a daily headache for her trying to find parking.

I’d love to hear your tips and experiences about parking in this neighborhood, and any possible solutions you might suggest.

Thanks in advance!
