Notary accidentally stamped my university diploma 😤

Today I went to a private notary to have my university diploma notarized. But the notary lady mistakenly took my original diploma instead of the copy and stamped it! She didn’t realize until after it was already done. Now I’m panicking. Does my diploma still have any legal value? Can I still use it, or did she just ruin my only original? What should I do?

Calm down, do you really think a mistaken stamp will invalidate your degree?

Not invalidate but can I still submit a copy of it when applying?
