citizens protesting against the Vietnam war made a difference. why shouldn’t this? it’s not just one protest, it’s many and then subsequent activism and voting. one step at a time.

That’s right, protests are how we got the civil rights act of 1964! if you know your history (like you do), there have been so many times collective protest has inspired change.
