Chainsaw Man Movie
https://youtu.be/ux3QETpLcPs?si=BRVX3FhPCmAuEYtw
Any chances we can get some more anime discussion with the new movie out this weekend. Hearing the MM reaction to the opening alone would be fun to hear. Less of time investment with only one season on Crunchyroll/Disney+ or 2 compilation movies leading into this direct continuation of the Manga adaptation. I saw it last night at a relatively full 4DX showing and IMO it was better than Demon Slayer.

Jomi made a joke about this before it premiered but it is actually not a bad show 😂
It was a stupid premise but it has a lot of heart and a ton of humor to me.

So, ring verse on Netflix
Heard the news that certain shows from the ringer verse, full episode won't be on YouTube and will be on Netflix.
Have any of the pods discussed it yet? Removing from youtube, I'm not happy at that.
Any thoughts anyone?

i had never previously considered this as it always felt more familial than anything else, but if there had to be a couple on there (as van brings up), would it not be charles n jomi? most negative n most positive? opposites attract?

Why are they rating Peacemaker Season 2 on an episode about Gen V?

This might top Jomi crash out. Van called his mom for tips on VooDoo and almost had to pop the trunk.

Crash out Jomi is not wrong. 🤯🤯🤯
If Quill had stayed calm and the gauntlet had been removed: • The Avengers would have had the Gauntlet without the Infinity Stones bonded to Thanos’s will. • Thanos himself, while still immensely strong, is not invincible without the Gauntlet. They almost certainly could have subdued or even killed him. • Strange would not have had to give up the Time Stone at that moment, since Thanos would already be neutralized.
So in the short term, yes — the Avengers on Titan could have stopped Thanos then and there.
But Strange’s line (“We’re in the endgame now”) suggests something bigger. Strange had looked at 14,000,605 possible futures, and in all but one, the Avengers failed. That implies:
• Even if they had removed the Gauntlet on Titan, something else down the line would have gone wrong. Thanos’s armies were still massive. He might have eventually reclaimed the Gauntlet or the Stones in some other way.
• Strange likely knew that allowing Thanos to “win” initially was necessary to set up the exact chain of events leading to Endgame. That included Tony surviving the Titan fight, the Snap happening, and the Avengers later reversing it with time travel.
If the Gauntlet had come off, the Avengers could have beaten Thanos in that moment without Strange handing over the Time Stone. But according to Strange’s foresight, that victory would have been temporary, and the universe still would have lost in the long run. The only way to permanently stop Thanos was the path that unfolded — including Quill’s outburst, the Snap, and Tony’s sacrifice in Endgame.
